FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Wound Care Strategies expands web site. Consumers benefit through educational information and free documentation tool.
HARRISBURG, PENNSYLVANIA - Wound Care Strategies recently added a "Consumer's Corner" to their web site. Presented in an educational format to assist the layperson by imparting educational information, this section of the web site offers the individual a means of learning basic information about their skin as well as various wound types, phases of healing, some thoughts on prevention and skin care.
The Consumer's Corner is already making an impact as expressed by SMM of San Diego, CA, who wrote: "Just knowing about your web site and the information contained has helped me to help my Mother…Thank you for being there for me…A happy day for me among several dismal days. Thank you again."
Visitors to the Consumer's Corner section are also presented with over 75 companies and their respective products in which they can link to learn more about specific products and their functionality. A documentation form with corresponding instructions can be downloaded for individuals to track their own care at no charge.
Documentation for professionals can be found in the Wound and Skin Documentation Management manual, a comprehensive manual developed by Cathy Thomas Hess and available through Briggs Corporation, includes form specifications with guidelines for assessing and monitoring wound and skin conditions. Forms are created and site-tested by Wound Care Strategies, ensuring "practical experience" with each form created. This documentation system was created for use either in its entirety, or as stand-alone forms to enhance existing documentation practices.
Wound Care Strategies is the leading independent developer of skin and wound care systems, providing management of care delivery, outcomes reporting, competency validation, and regulatory compliance for the healthcare, biotechnology, and insurance industries.
