FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Wound Care Strategies launches newest release: TriAssess® Software, Premier Version 4.0 for the Outpatient Wound Care Department

Harrisburg, PA - Wound Care Strategies, Inc., has launched its latest version of its software preferred by hospital outpatient wound care departments, TriAssess® Software, Premier Version 4.0 (TriAssess® Premier). The AutoMinderÆ clinical and operational support system is included with TriAssess® Premier 4.0. Capturing clinical (health), financial (coordinates chargeable items) and functional (patient satisfaction) data, all JCAHO targets, advanced reporting and functionality are inherent with TriAssess® Premier 4.0.

"Wound Care Strategies assisted our hospital with the implementation of our wound care department and we have been using the TriAssess® Premier software for more than 5 years,” states Blair Hughes, Program Director at Frederick Memorial Hospital. "Our documentation provides solid evidence of our work through the reports we generate from TriAssess® Premier. We have recently taken 3 years of outcome data and trends to our medical staff, which validated our work, and have shown decreased length of stays and increased discharges due to meeting our goals. With reports from TriAssess® Premier we can demonstrate our great outcomes.”

"Aside from the comprehensive documentation platform, TriAssess® Premier 4.0 allows for the compliance process to be reviewed through the addition of new auditing capabilities for a patient’s electronic medical record” says Jeffrey Hatzfeld, Director, IT Services for Wound Care Strategies. Hatzfeld further states, "A new archiving utility allows records to be relocated for a more manageable database. Behind the scenes, current users will find data entry to be faster and smoother. And with long records, a revised user-friendly interface makes it easier to customize and organize data.”

Lucinda Rook, RN, CPC, Documentation and Compliance Analyst at Wound Care Strategies says, "The new superbill feature in TriAssess® Premier 4.0 will provide independent physicians with automated documentation to support the billing of services provided by them in the wound care department. This provides for an easier transmission of billing for their private practices.”

Wound Care Strategies, educational, training and strategy consultants, is the leading independent developer of skin and wound care systems, providing a consultative approach to develop/enhance wound care services and facility operation (wound care departments). The company also provides management of care delivery, outcome reporting, payment/ reimbursement solutions, strategic planning and sales force education and training, competency validation, and regulatory compliance for the healthcare, biotechnology, and insurance industries.
